    Andy Iro;
Already I can see it’s slightly different from your traditional Ohio town.
    It sure is Andy.

Looking forward to seeing a motivated Andy Iro at our back.

so 5 starters out of 11. . . can only be good right?
Will this be next years team or is it not too late to salvage something ()play offs) this year. .

    Iro likes his new situation.

“It’s a big club, the support has always been great up here,” he said. “Going from the market in Columbus to this one is going to be a different kind of transition, but I think I can step into it pretty well and I’m looking forward to it. Already I can see it’s slightly different from your traditional Ohio town.

While he does have a point, that was a pretty lazy article.

He must have had nothing to write about. That ESPN story was about a month ago?

That's right. The shitecaps are ACTUALLY going for Hargreaves. So awesome. Too bad we don't play them again this year, I'd love to see Hargreaves on the business end of a spike or 2.

It was also already posted on this board sometime around that time.

Wow. The Voyageurs will come, torches in hand and burn down their stadium.

A signing like that would make MoJo's signing of Mista look like brilliant work.

Did anyone listen to Mr. Mariner's stint on 590 this morn? Any announcements? Or did he make a few old man sounds (eh.. eh) and reitarate what's been said for the last 6 months?

I'd redo ANY Mojo move over offering that injured twat money to wear my teams colours. ANY Mojo move. I'd sooner rehire Preki sooner then take on Hargreaves. I guess the Caps want to be our rivals in any area they can find- including worst personnel decisions, worst management team and most coaches in a 5 year period (they're on pace for 10!)

Perhaps too early to tell yet, but I think Iro could really become a fan favourite. Certainly seems to have a very engaging personality.

I didn't realize that Iro was voted team MVP last season. Good stuff.

Weird...because I thought that Woy Boy at West Brom was on the verge of offering him a contract. Regardless, I could care less what happens to Hargreaves. That cripple's days as an effective footballer are over.

I don't think 'caps fans have to worry, Owen will be most likely signing a pay as you play deal with West Brom this week. Makes the most sense for him and even for West Brom, not much risk.

Mariner commented on how it's always nice to have a ginger in the line-up haha. "The lads take the mick, but he's a good kid and works his tail off in training."
