I've had seasons since day one, been on away days and love TFC, but initially I'd still go to the Euro websites first each morning for footy news. Gradually, I don't know exactly when it happened, but it was about two or three years ago that I found myself having to get TFC news first every day, usually denime's "Today's News", and lately several times throughout the day! It's become clear that I still love my "other" team, but TFC's the clear number one now. For better or worse, haha!
My Teams
LEICESTER CITY
ENGLAND
TFC
LIVERPOOL
My team is Reading and now TFC. Don't really follow any other clubs, just keep eye on scores from back home. All the other clubs fall into teams I don't mind and teams I hate.
Manchester United for over 20 years now. Dad is from the area so I came into it that way. Also follow the fortunes of Carlisle United as I have a lot of family around there and family members that have been inloved in the youth ranks with them.
Love... TFC..WEST HAM UNITED, CANADA, ENGLAND
Follow...Liverpool, RC Lens (admittedly not as closely layely) Spain
Hate.... Manchester united, Real Madrid
It's funny in terms of National Teams, aside from Canada at #1 of course, I support the Dutch National Team even though I'm not Dutch. People automatically assume I support Portugal, and by extension Brazil, but I don't. LOL
I blame Marco van Basten my favourite player of all time. LOL
Love: Leeds, TFC, Canada and England.
Follow: Barcalona, Notts County
Hate: Man U
Yes, TFC to me is like cheating on your wife. I fell in love with Liverpool many years ago, we got married and had six children .... . I see Liverpool as the wife that lives far away for political reasons and TFC the next-door, toothless, one-legged whore that I shag out of convenience.
My three loves are on my signature.
I follow MANY teams, I think I'm as bad as tfcleeds! HA HA HA!

Like Fiorentina, St Pauli, FSV Zwickau, Athletico Bilbao, Barcelona, Rotherham Utd, St Etienne
Absolutely despise Chelsea, Real Madrid, Rangers, Linfield, Red Star Belgrade and any other bastard european teams i cant think of right now and that bunch of cretins that got relegated in Argentina this year. And Racing Club. And Athletico Madrid. And Rangers again.
Think Milan are the Serie A team Pat has developed amnesia over if my recollections of past conversations are accurate.
...just to wind up the poster immediately above, forgot to mention that Linfield were my grandfather's Irish League team based on the part of Belfast the family was originally from (was always told it was no accident that Bo'ness United his favoured junior team wore the same colours and that they were very much the team to follow in that context. Still do to a very limited extent.) People sometimes look at me like I'm a weirdo for not having a favourite Premiership team when asked, in an English context I very casually follow the fortunes of Barnet these days because ex-England star Jimmy Greaves said that Accies home ground reminded him of his days as a player there on a TV programme called On The Ball. Also got into NK Zagreb to a very limited extent based on conversations on this board's immediate forerunner with the Slunj branch of BBB due to the non-hooligan orientation of their hardcore fans and their similarity in scale relative to Dinamo with Hamilton Accies relative to the Old Firm.

Followed West Ham before TFC. Still watch as many Hammers games as I can.
Since MLS and TFC takes up most of my footy viewing time, I can only vaguely note Olympique Lyonnais, PSV, Fiorentina and Barca.
Oh, still trying to watch as much as Canadian MNT and South Korea MNT games
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

When I interact with City fans in the UK, they are baffled by the concept you can support multiple teams. But in practice I notice quite a number of them follow/attend lower division teams/games.
The football culture is just different here due to the development of the game, especially the constant integration of people new to the sport. If there was an traditional, established professional league in North America (as could have developed if things didn't get derailed in the 1920s), a lot of things might be different.
