“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Brek Shea scores his 8th goal of the year for Dallas. And he's been playing wing most of the year, sometimes a defender. Amazing year he's been having

1-0 NYRB. Joel Lindpere with the finish after a good build up by NY (and a bit of luck for NY on the final ball)

One thing about tsn, they've really stepped up to the plate with their mls coverage.
that was an awful mistake by "it's Bouna Time". 1-1.
those watching on TSN -- do you hear some strange repetitive sound in the background?
New York at San Jose....good game to watch. Some end to end stuff going on

The number of golazos this season has been amazing. I don't know what that says about the league but if they make a Top MLS Goals of 2011 dvd, I'm buying it.

that Andy Najar strike from 35 yds was pretty special

Then there is Darlington Nagbe's golazo

Question which goal so far this year has been best in MLS?
Hassli's or Nagbe's?
The reason I say Nagbe's because consensus last night was that Nagbe's was better than Najar's.
Plus, Nagbe is a rookie. To bang out a goal like that in his first professional season is very impressive.
MLS will have to do the GOTY competition in a bracket.
