Default Post Game: NCC TFC 2 - VFC 1

    great match for Toronto

    The boys played really well.

Best match they've played in quite some time.

The whining from the west coast elsewhere is going to make amusing reading. Hopefully the feelgood factor will translate into a few good results in the league as well.

TFC overcame many obstacles and were completely deserving of the victory. That was absolutely the best effort of the season with a depleted squad.

FUCK YEAH! Damn that felt good!

Good game to watch. Terrific game for Yourassowsky.

I agree. Plata was definitely the game changer today. He seemed on fire.

A true bright spark for TFC this year.

Plata was on fire. Here's hoping these last 2 games vs Vancouver can spark this team to go on a real strong run.

It's been a great week for TFC with the victory on Wednesday, two DP signings, and now the NCC Trophy! Let's hope today's siginificant victory will boost the morale of the club moving forward.

Welp, I'm glad I have to eat my words. I thought the Reds weren't going to be up to the task today. Instead we got one of the most entertaining comebacks since the team started.

    Well done.

After that first Vancouver goal we dominated that match, without question. All the midfielders did a good job finishing their runs today giving the forwards lots of late-arriving options when they dragged the ball out wide.

I always thought at the beginning of the year when the heat came out that was going to change the dynamics for a Toronto team that tried to complete more on technical ability than athletic fortitude. Earlier in the year those defenders weren't laboring at much when it was mid teens, but good luck chasing Plata around all day when it's 30 degrees.

Yeah, in the first half, it definitely didn't seem like it was meant to be today. I really have to give the players credit, because they totally dominated the match after Camilo's goal.

I (and several others) thought JDG would never see the pitch again...and then he goes and delivers his best game in a TFC uniform.
