Like I said earlier....I'm happy we didn't get blown out, but disappointed Gala could get a run out.
    Oh well.

Oh ok, let me praise him for all his accomplishments while at our club....

(notice how I left a big blank space and said nothing)...wink wink

The guy's infatuated with himself. He talks about his past goals as if he's Pele.

The game stats seems to say the match was pretty even but I'll wait to hear from people who saw the play of the game for their opinions.

I guess we know what drills the team will be doing this week.

What drills would those be? Penalties? Because we won't have to take penalties again for a long time, so I see no use in those.

OK. I suspect I'm the first back from the game. 1st half lackluster effort from both sides. Pachuco are fast, small and great passers. Without too much detail I can tell you that we still need depth. But fuck - it was a friendly between halflings and mugles.

"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Forget my feeble attempt at humour. What I meant to say is these guys (P) looked like hobits only twice as wide and we had no magic - but in the second half we had heart (not much skill). I was fun to watch the last 30 minutes and the shoot out.

Not a bad result. A loss in a shootout technically goes down as a draw. It would've been nice if some of our subs got playing time - what manager only makes two substitutions in a friendly? Oh well.

Btw, the attendance at tonight's game was 18,097. That's pretty lousy when one considers that 16,000 tickets were as good as sold months ago. Only 2,000 of the remaining 4,000 ducats got picked up. TFC is going to have to lower its prices if it wants to sell out these friendlies.
