Another weekly wrap up - Vancouver wins, TFC loses and breaking down what is the main difference between the two sides. More praise of Alan Gordon in his absence and lastly the CMNT flame-out of the Gold Cup and fair comments towards Hart and the state of the national team.
PAUL JAMES ON SOCCER PODCAST: EPISODE 13
And for those interested a quick interview with Danleigh Borman on settling in with Toronto.
That sucks for Crepeau. The kid looks very good for 16.
On the other side it creates a chance for one of our academy kids to step up and show what they can do. Best of luck to them.
For Fifa purposes a win lasts for 4 years right? Well we're approaching 20. It's time to put the past behind us. Not only is Toronto easily the worst sports city in terms of value for dollar, without having checked the list I couldn't even tell you who would be 2nd worst.
Edit: Just did some math, since Joe Carter the 3 major Toronto teams have played 48 seasons. They've made the playoffs 14 times (9 leafs, 4 Raptors). They've lost in the conference finals twice, quarter finals 6 times, and were eliminated in the first round 6 times. So 8 times in 48 seasons we've won a playoff round. and 14 times out of 48 have been above (or in the case of the NHL/NBA been at or even slightly below) average. Turrible.
