The Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal Academies will breathe life into the CMNT program in the future. The next generation of Canadian national team players should allow Canada to be more competitive on the regional and global stage.

But we'll probably only see the fruits to it in another 5-10 years.

If were even that lucky and you can forget about JDG2 and Holliet joining the team anytime soon. The CSA should fire Hart but they won't because they don't even have enough money for a piss pot...

I really wish the Canadian men's team would look for a strong experienced international coach much like the women did.

    KLINSMANN, DUNGA ON ALGERIA SHORTLIST

The Algeria men's national team is seeking a replacement for head coach Abdelhak Benchikha, and according to reports out of Algeria, Jurgen Klinsmann and Dunga are among the five candidates on the shortlist for the position.

Klinsmann, the former Germany coach who was pursued by the U.S. Soccer Federation after the World Cup, is currently serving as a consultant to Toronto FC. Dunga was axed by Brazil after the nation's disappointing showing at last summer's World Cup.

Another candidate on the shortlist is said to be former Ivory Coast boss Vahid Halilhodzic. Reports that mercurial former France coach Raymond Domenech is also a candidate have been denied by the Algerian Football Federation.

Ha-ha, I wouldn't wish Domenech on anyone. Not even the Columbus Krew.
