10 Alan Gordons, we need 10 Alan Gordons... 10 Alan Gooooooorrrrdons, we need 10 Alan Gordons...

Funny that in the FIFA story at the bottom, Horace Burrell (a Warner crony through and through) is keeping his own counsel on matters as they stand. I wonder if even a week will pass before Warner starts trying to undermine the new CONCACAF president, or if anything will finally change in this banana republic of a federation?

Morning D, and thanks as always for making life a bit easier for lazy bastards like me.

    GOTY candidate for sure...

Its funny, both Gordon and Hassli have similar goals, at similar times (not exact) to pull out 2-2 draws on the road, in stadiums where not many gave either a chance...

Video highlights of the match - http://tsn.ca/soccer/

I know I get crucified when I say this, but I love Hassli...

He's big, mean, physical, at times stupid, scores and changes the game...

That's a DP for you in the MLS...

If he could just take out "at times stupid" his stock would be even higher...

Think about what I just said about Hassli, take out the "stupid" part - and you get an 'Alan Gordon' model player...

    Carts...

Rumours re: Martin Petrov (Bulgarian international) move to MLS from Bolton W.
I think any team could use a speedy winger with a very good delivery and shot, who is also a dead-ball specialist. But I am biased since I am a Bulgarian-Canadian.

"Elsewhere, Bolton have opened discussions on the transfer of winger Martin Petrov to Major League Soccer.
The 32-year-old Bulgarian is one of the club's higher earners after joining from Manchester City on a free transfer 12 months ago, yet started less than half of Bolton's Premier League fixtures last season."
