Will be interesting to see how many members TFC make it, last time I saw Sutton, Guevara and Edu were doing well in the voting.

I am crossing my fingers for Marvell....I think he is the one TFC player that deserves the starting spot (not sure Sutton really deserves it, and Edu certainly doesn't)

^^ IMO Velez or Wynne would be the best choice from TFC.

I'm pretty sure Amado will make it since he's the only player the media seems to notice anywhere but here and they have a say in voting. On Merit it's gonna be Wynne for us. I love Velez but his mistakes to start the year will probably exclude him.

Mistakes? Compared to the ones Wynne or Brennan make? Only difference is Wynne is fast enough to get back and cover for his mistakes and Brennan somehow avoids all criticism. Velez has been a rock in our back line since about the 4th week.

Any chance the "public" can attend this event?
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Exactly, since the 4th week. But the mistakes were goal causing, and in games where the american media would see him (DC, LA). Marvell had the terrible penalty but that's it for compete cock ups

So 3 weeks of adjustment to the squad is enough to rule out his performances ever since? I'm sure his passion on the pitch caught the attention of the media and coaches.

Amado. They've heard of him. They're Americans, they write the story before it happens

If this is case I wouldn't be shocked to see Maurice Edu make the squad.

Agreed and even though Robert hasn't been outstanding by any means, I wouldn't be surprised to see him possibly make the bench.

Thank you...someone else who sees what is going on at Full back on both sides of the park. Brennan has been awful since he came back from international duty - poor defending, shit distribution and I worry about his temperament the way he has lost it against NE and Vancouver.
I know it's heresy round these parts to say such, but it has to be said,

Our CB's have been fairly solid whether it's been Velez, Marshall, James or Tebily but Wynne and Brennan have been a step below last season's performances IMO. Wynne makes it up with his ability to track back after getting lost, but still.

I don't hold it against ya dude. You are spot on about Velez being a very consistent performer since about game 4 though so your sleep pattern hasn't thrown that bit off.

haha yes, I said it at the start of the season. He wouldn't be the captain of PR if he wasn't consistantly performing.
