bloody hell meant to pop this into the mls section...
the rivalry between these two is fun to watch.
we've had our way with Houston, hope tonight we can take care of the other half of texas
Smart move. MLS needs any kind of help getting Dallas people out to Frisco to see games.
FRISCO! That's like going to Barrie to catch TFC games. Idiots...
Moved it for you...
Actually it's not a bad area. It's more akin to Blue Mountain, with a much shorter and easier drive.
When I was there I stayed at Westin Stonebriar Resort that's 5 min away from the PHP complex. Nice retreat and couple rounds of golf.
I'd do it again, but only if we are in playoff and going there given I've been to it.
It's not a bad area like Oakville is not a bad area. It doesn't mean it will help them draw fans. It's a good 45 minute drive from Dallas in GOOD traffic my man. That's just boneheaded.
Then again, other cities draw better with similar setups. Chicago and New England for example. I still don't think it's a good idea.
Everything is relative.
Chester anyone?
Or Foxborough?
Carson?
of course, and the Cowlumbus
RPB billboard outside Saputo would be funny
What would it say:
Toronto, still the same number of MLS championships as Montreal?
SHIT! Don't give the Impact any ideas! They'll do it to us instead!
WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU,
& WE KNOW IT!
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
It has to be bilingual to meet French language laws.
FCD is doing pretty well attendance this year much better than Chicago or New England
