Tonight the Red Patch Boys are providing the kids that go out hand in hand with the players for the anthem! Just one of the perks of membership - the chance for this!

“The crowd makes a huge impact on how a team performs. If there are lot of people out there that do support Canada, that want to see Canada in a World Cup, want to see Canada do well, they’ve got to come out and show that sort of 12th man spirit and help us through it.

“Those players are wearing the Canada shirt with pride. They’ve sacrificed a lot to play for Canada and they don’t ask much.”

And maybe you'll grow up and see what the FO has been doing.
I am actually quite surprised no one has said anything about this before.
It doesn't matter where the kids come from or who they are sponsored by.
In year 1 and 2 those kids came out in full fledged soccer uniforms. That past few season that is no longer the case. They come out in shirts hawking the wares of a TFC sponsor.
I for 1 find it appalling that 8,9,10, 11 yr. olds are used in this way. Its children for Christ sake. Every kid looks forward to this day if their team is chosen to do the walk out. Let them have their day - in full footy uniforms- not use them for commercial interest.

Do you really think that they feel used because of a shirt that the team has them wear??? I think it's more that they get to participate... Most, if not all player escorts have some kind of commercial interest... This isn't new to the world of football... Oh my, they gave a kid a shirt with a sponsor, the horror..

    We should respect Boban's views>

He would also like to point out we should not use the term "Pet's" as it is degrading to animals.

Looks like FK Partizan will be holding its summer preparations in Toronto, they'll also be taking part in a friendly tournament during that time so I'm guessing TFC will be one of the teams they'll play.

That's pretty cool, I don't think a Champions League club has ever held it's preparations in Canada before

Pachuca puts entire team on transfer list You don't see this happening everyday

    http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?...mmexicopachuca
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Don't follow Mexican league as close as I should, but what the hell is Pachuca trying to do? Weird.

Very interesting, looks like there's some links getting forged with these teams.

I never said they feel used. They don't know what the fuck is going on with respect to that. And that's my point.

You really do seem to be a pawn in this system and take to it whole heartedly.

DeRo is a backup as he does poorly because he is not fast enough to deal with quick sides and without room to operate he gets frustrated and disappears.
