    Pretty good, by NASL standards.

From The "MLS disputes yellow card to TFC" link

    No excessive celebrations

FIFA's Laws of the Game say: "While it is permissible for a player to demonstrate his joy when a goal has been scored, the celebration must not be excessive."

A player "must be cautioned" if, in the opinion of the referee, he:
    Makes gestures which are provocative
    ...
Yah, I'm glad the refs are consistent on that one. That boy Davies surely learned _his_ lesson.

In the CBC article is says:

"However it appears there is no recourse for Toronto FC. The only ground for repealing a card is mistaken identity, Tamberino said."

Wasn't Tchani's first yellow just this? Can't TFC point that out? Tchani said in an interview it wasn't him but he didn't want to point a finger at a team mate. If they can prove that the Ref got the first yellow wrong then the Red HAS to be removed from the record because it wasn't a straight Red.

    Bones...

Agreed. It's a shame, because the official's incompetence not only cost us the victory against Columbus, but Tchani's absence will leave a noticeable gap in the midfield against Seattle.

Sears as a sponsor? Seems so dull. But if someone is buttering your bread why not eh. I'm waiting for an interesting sponsor like, Trojan Condoms, or Ashley-Madison, or Preparation-H... something cool like that.

Given that the worst suspects are canadian too, I would refine that assumption to 'because we are Toronto'

Its at the point were you have more of a case for separation than Quebec.
