He scores a fluke goal of a bounce and a nice volley every year just like he scored against Montreal last year. But to actually score when he is supposed to that is asking too much.

We'll see how his season pans out, I predict another goal and then a lengthy injury followed by a return to the form that he started the season on.

I hate the way that whenever he scores, he gets surrounded by teammates giving it 'see....you can do it.....i told you you could score!'

I haven't seen the official numbers yet. But apparently he's making $300,000 this season.

The big question is how much of that salary is TFC paying? No one knows and teams usually don't divulge that info.

so i guess tchani's goal wasn't nominated. bit of a shame, as I thought it was a great team goal, short controlled passing among 5 different players to move the ball from the edge of our box to midfield, great movement by gordon to drag chad marshall out of position, good pass over the defence and a cool finish. lovely stuff.

If Chad wins GOTW, at least TFC should be recognized for sponsoring Chad. You know, "This Goal of the Week is brought to you by... Toronto FC!"

Barrett is making the same amount of money in LA, that he would have in Toronto; he was still under contract for this season. But that was much more than last year, because of the "sub-prime" contract that Mo offered Barrett. Rumour was $300k for this season; we have to wait for the MLS salary list to be sure (if we want to believe that list). And as mentioned, hard to know exactly how much of that TFC is covering. With a couple of solid wingers in Toronto this season, I'm still OK with Barrett being gone, even if he scores a bunch in LA. (And he should score a bunch, with the excellent service he will be getting, and with a bunch of other famous players drawing the attention of defenders away from him.)
