Default Who provides the best MLS coverage

I have a question about the media coverage of MLS.

My favourite spot for MLS coverage is Sports Illustrated (CNNSI.com) there I get very recent information and lots of columns to read.

But I am confused as to why ESPN's soccernet is not better at this than Sports Illustrated? Is ESPN not "the" media partner for MLS? Why do they have such poor MLS coverage where there are extremely few columns and news articles are practically a week behind?

I never go to Fox Sports. How do people find the coverage there?

    Any other suggestions?

I don't know about the best and for variety...but I like Ives. He tries to get some different perspective at times and lots of articles asking for opinions on what is written via comments.

I agree Sports illustrated is pretty good, also Daily soccer fix by Steve Davis, Soccer by Ives and even the MLS website has a ton of articles, and yes Fox and ESPN are quite poor.

Saying that you get your coverage from Sports Illustrated is like saying that you get you information from Playboy

I don't depend on one source. I use Google Reader, and subscribe to many many different writers and sites across many different sites. Then it all comes to me as if it's in one site.

For league related issues SI and ESPN along with the MLS's own website are the best. I'll often find a story on the MLS site, then look to see what other people (SI, ESPN, local newspapers) are saying about it.

For TFC in particular, I like J-Mo's articles on the CBC website.
