SSG: Curvy in all the right places!
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
expansion, expansion, chivas, now the training wheels come off. I'm kind of scared.
I think Martina could struggle with the narrow pitch giving him less space. could be good for stevanovic cutting in from the wing though, at the very least should make it easier for the team to get the ball to him which they really struggled with against chivas.
Today's SSG is fantastic from the neck down...
Are people really up in arms about TFC keeping Morgan? I don't really keep up with Canadian forums. Personally I'm glad we kept Morgan, I just wish he played. Anyway I think TFC does enough to grow Canadian talent so keeping Morgan under the circumstances shouldn't be anything for people to go crazy about.
Toronto's back line has been challenged by the long passes. Narrow pitch should bode well. Should also help the quick passes in the middle. I say TFC 3 - SJ 2.
SSG looks like a drag queen.
You made me double check but Morgan didn't play v Chivas
Toronto (4-3-3) - Stefan Frei; Danleigh Borman, Nana Attakora (Dicoy Williams 65'), Adrian Cann, Ty Harden; Tony Tchani, Maicon Santos, Jacob Peterson (Julian de Guzman 46'); Javier Martina, Alan Gordon, Alen Stevanovic (Joao Plata 70') ... Subs Not Used: Milos Kocic, Oscar Cordon, Dan Gargan, Ashtone Morgan ... Goal: Gordon 36' ... Caution: de Guzman 89'
We kept Morgan, b/c Yourass was suspended. We were going to use him, but the trade for Borman changed that.
