and you need those guys in MLS squads. too good, and he'd get too much interest from Europe. though even fringe USMNT players get some attention nowadays.
solid MLS lifers are good players to have in your squad.

Yeah but in his defense, we had a coach how made a lot of players look a lot worse than their actual level.
There were maybe one or two games with Cummings where we had some kind of JDG, Cronin, Guevara combo through the middle and it looked pretty damn good.
