So does the format give us MORE or less chance at post season?

Do people care about this playoff format change? I can't stand the constant change in playoffs in ALL sports. Moneygrab. Wake me when playoffs are dead.

Two T&T players trialing? Sign em! We'll get more calls our way in CONCACAF CL!

Nice to see the U-17's proceed this far. Good Luck to them v Panama tomorrow.

I feel much more comfortable with Jimmy B. working with the academy, than as an "assistant GM," getting coffee for Earl.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

    Thoughts on all the news.

like the coach signings, am unimpressed with triallists but i supose we should reserve judgement.

playoff format, I guess it gives us slightly more chance of making the playoffs, in a lose one away game and we're done kind of way. I'm hoping for TFC to rep the west v vancouver to rep the east. espn would love that.

^Who said? I'm surprised we went T&T. It seems to be the obvious choices for this club. First players that have the MO/UK connection and now the Dutch. Makes sense and I don't care where as long as it's successful.

    I agree.

I didn't like that he could be involved with signing players.
First Wave just changed their site so I can't confirm, but i'm pretty confident he's a first First Wave guy.

Sometimes I think the Toronto Sun selects the first girl that knocks on the window in the morning.
Glad to see Dichio and Brennan coaching in the acadamy.

Anyone else find it somewhat comical we have a trialist named Yourassowsky and a trialist named Gay? If we sign both, there's gonna be jokes...

TFC REGINA, that reminds me of the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode where Larry was forced out of the mall due to a fire alarm and he met the police officer named Officer Kropke. He then tells the officer about the West Side Story song that says, "Hey Officer Kropke, Kropke You!"

SSG: Little young and very cute, but the depressed look on her face makes me think I can maybe spare $30/month to sponsor her I'm bad, I know.

MLS Playoffs: It just means that at the very least we might qualify to get a wild card spot since the talent level per team has been lowered by allowing two teams to join the MLS, but I have my doubts we will be in the top four in our conference.

OLD NEWS: Philadelphia Union signed Carlos Ruiz former TFC player.

Bravo To New Additions To Staff: Very decent staff rearrangement. If anywhere we've succeeded in the offseason it has to be said we have a much better coaching staff.

To be clear, I didn't intend to insult you or anything, it just reminds me of that American Dad show where "irregardless" was one of those things that they made fun of (along with "all of the sudden"). Sometimes I assume everyone knows the same inside jokes I do.

so does this mean Dichio won't be on the sidelines of TFC games anymore?

I think that's what it means.

Jimmy is a First Wave guy for sure and I am not all that thrilled that he will be able to steer our young prospects over to Maclean.

check back in the summer transfer window

is there really any reliable strikers, of a high enough calibre to take a chance on, that are available right now?
