A Jim Brennan sighting! (with the Kia)

Anyone know what Jim is up to in general with TFC now that the new crew is here?

Mickey Mouse league you say? Balderdash! We're off to Disney to face Orlando City and we can watch it live! Finally some distinguished clubs with tradition!
I think I would've chose to twitter follow this tourney coming up instead of the Turkey tourney.

Hyundai dropping sponsorship over a CEO scandal the same year a tourney they sponsor earns record profit and attendance (U-20). Grow some stones.

SUNshine Girl Krysta Lee wants to be a world famous singer and actor. This doesn't give her much time, she says, for extracurricular activities, although she did once meet Bruce Willis on the set of RED

Big deal. . so did I. . .. cuz it was shot in my Apartment!

That's one very nice looking piece of transportation! Artistry is not dead in the auto industry.

It's nice to see how many headlines there are today. Things are changing for association football in Canada. I suspect the addition of Vancouver to MLS and Edmonton to NASL have the media deciding to put more into coverage.

If KIA and TFC were smart they would let me drive that car ahead of a supporters march to the stadium. That would be some promotion!

Of note in the article on Pat Onstad suiting up for DC United...

"United also waived defender Julius James, who played 31 MLS games with the club over 1 ― seasons."

Wow, the CSA sponsorship story is a pretty weird. I mean, legally, CSA is probably right, Hyundai shouldn't just drop out of a signed agreement, and we all know CSA needs the cash. However, how well does that bode for future sponsorship deals? Especially where CSA has more controversies these days. "Yes we would like you to sponsor us. BTW we're gonna sue your pants off if you try to drop out of the sponsorship early. Yes we would like this to be another multi-year sponsorship deal."

^What's funny to me is that this litigation has far more attention, negative or otherwise, than a CSA firing ever did.

OBW looking like the latest to do very well after leaving TFC :

    http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...ounders17.html

Despite not being 100 percent fit, White earned singled-out praise from coach Sigi Schmid after an endurance test. A day later, the 25-year-old finished second to Steve Zakuani in the sprints.
Finally, White proved his mettle on the field with a goal and an assist in his first two training games.
"I think this club is going to have a lot of joy with O'Brian White before the day is over," said Schmid in the first week of camp.
Admiration has continued from Schmid ("You try to bring attention to people who have done well," he said) and all other angles of Sounders FC in the days since, most recently from rookie goalkeeper Josh Ford, a former teammate of White's at UConn.
"He's a phenomenal player and a good guy all-around," Ford said.

The Nykamp story was all over the papers in the past.

This is the first I've heard of Hyundai's litigation.

^I meant negative attention on the sponsor, Hyundai. This litigation reflects far worse on them than being associated with the CSA.

Still it's type of stuff that doesn't reflect well on the CSA.

Then we wonder why the CSA can't get sponsorships.

I guess the thing EVERYONE is saying to the CSA is get your house in order and we'll do business. That's the frustrating part. I mean, fans see it, players see it, sponsors see it, yet the tools that run the CSA can't.

I would be very surprised if he does well. I said it last year and I will say it again, he just doesn't have it at this level.

Regardless if he does well or not... I won't lose any sleep from losing OBW. He didnt cut it last year in Preki's system (whatever that was) and I don't think he would fit under Winter either. If Sigi can figure out how to use him then kudos.

I think it's more of a situation of the CSA resisting reform as much as possible, changing as little as possible and thinking it's enough to get away with. No more.

Agreed. He was not the answer to our lack of goal scoring (DeRo aside). We needed a better striker than OBW. That said, I wish him well.
