As an example, $1 @3.00 will win you $3. TFC looks to be improving game by game. I normally only make "wussy" bets, I try to win between $10-20 at a go, so I'm thinking TFC might be good for risking $5 on.

whats the fun in that? I like placing bets from time to time but i never hedge a bet unless its for big bucks and you cant go wrong with it.

habit from stock market investing in the past, long long time ago... buy a stock with expected movement and always hedge with an option in case opposite happens, lol

Agreed. Plus (atleast in my case) betting is done with your heart not your head. You will lose more than you win.

THats why I stopped betting Serie A (apart from proline pools) and only bet the EPL. Because I could give a shit who wins in the EPL while I have favorites in Serie A
