Did the FO make a cheque signing motion when he missed?

Fantastic result. Pleased as punch for this preseason tourney. I wonder though...did TFC think it best to keep a lid on the fact they were going to play the Serbian giants biggest rivals this Sunday??

Haha, I think we should everytime he misses a goal this entire season.

TFC VS PB: Its really too bad we couldnt get a live stream for the game, but I think alot of these games are somewhat scripted to allow for both teams to evaluate themselves.

SSG: Don't quit your waitressing job

Gary Neville: Guess who finally decided to call it quits. The Galaxy I think are working out a trade.

Good read. Update on O'brien White now with the Sounders.

    http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_b...oronto-fc.html

"Very difficult. Always a lot of change," White said. "It was a bit of a struggle to get used to the kind of systems. They kept changing their rotation and... had different front players all the time."

I hope all this DeRo stuff blows over in time for the season... It would be nice to be able to support your leading scorer instead of chastise him.

Chuffed for the lads to get a result in thier first match. . hope they gel over there.

    - wonder How Connie is doing?!! I was expecting a report from her about her trip

    - If Neville ever enters BMO there is going to be an incident, I can assure you of THAT.

SSG - reminds me of a babysitter I had as a kid. . 5-11? win. the rest. . no.

    CANNAKORA = AWESOME

I still plan on making a 'PEACHES' banner this year, as that was Adrian's nick name gropwing up.

Agreed. At the end of the day, the contract dispute is between DeRo and TFC/MLS head office. If DeRo is still with the club for the home opener, I'll cheer him on as always. That being said, I have a feeling that some supporters will let him know every time he misses a scoring chance or makes an errant pass. But hey, he's a grown man so he'll just have to deal with it...

It was interesting reading the Suns article from Frei's perspective, to see how they can now understand that total football opens up space

Time heals all wounds .... and so does a few goals and a few wins. Sports fans are fickle. DeRo scores and we win? He's back in the good books for the vast majority. DeRo does not score and we lose a bunch? He's a goat.

Come opening day I'm cheering for my team and whoever is wearing the shirt on that day!

I was thinking the same thing while reading it this morning on the ride in...

Even Frei saying he had to change his style to adapt...

Frei: "... playing Wednesday forced some players, including myself, to play out of their comfort zones..."

Sounds like we might actually see some pass and move, including using the keeper to hold possession - not just pass back for keeper to thump it when in trouble - this season...

If the Winter can get the players available to learn, know, instinctively play a proper football pass and move style - I think you'll see two things; 1. a lot of MLS teams will get frustrated & foul or open up, 2. JDG will become a much more valuable piece of the roster, funneling proper football through him in the mid...

    Carts...
"...Money wasn't tight, but it like, it wasn't right..."

De Rosario called up to CMNT and a possibility that Nana or Cann will be called in to replace an injured McKenna.

I hope DeRo isn't in the starting XI. Our attack is too one dimensional when DeRo hogs the ball.
