We're kicking off the new year in style! We wanted to give you a heads up that Toronto FC's new management team will be announced tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) at 1:00 p.m.

We're holding a press conference at Air Canada Centre where Tom Anselmi will introduce the people that have been chosen to lead our club.


Make sure you don't miss it! The announcement will be broadcast live on GOLTV Canada and online on Toronto FC TV. We will also be hosting a live web chat on TorontoFC.ca so you can join in the conversation. For a full list of GOLTV channel locations, click here.

Things like the MLS Final, and other TFC news.
That news shouldn't be coming out of a basketball arena.

Basketball specific when MLSE bought the team and rejigged it as best they could (it was half built) to fit the Leafs in there too (hence crappy hockey sight lines).

Also - losing could be considered a single purpose.

the ACC is setup for Sports News people at any given moment. If they want to do anything 'live to air' at BMO, it requires renting a video truck. It just makes a hell of a lot more sense to hold press conferences at a facility that is set up for them. But what's a little logic?

Do they have all the gear sitting there waiting for someone to use it? doubt it.
Does the ACC have a full staff of video techs just waiting for the next raps / leafs game? YES.
Also... who's making the announcements? Anselmi. And where do you think his offices are?
