damn you New England
Good article on RSL and the CCL:
http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/new...making-historyReal Salt Lake reached the final of the CONCACAF Champions League by employing an attacking style regardless of the venue or the conditions. So don't expect RSL manager Jason Kreis to change his team's approach now that mere continental supremacy is at stake, starting with Wednesday's first leg at Mexican side Monterrey.
Alexi Lalas just said on Twitter his contract is rumoured to be 400K.
400K is too much for Benny Feilhaber in my opinion.
we'll see if Feilhaber is worth 400k or not. though I think 400k might incl transfer fee MLS to AGF (if any) and his cap cost might be less next season?
3 WC appearances, some EPL and Bundesliga exp, plus in his prime (if some injury problems). good attacking midfielders are hard to come by
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Yohan is correct, there is mention in the article on mlssoccer.com that his transfer fee is included in the wage (for the first year). 400 is quite reasonable for both, but i imagine not many teams have that without serious allocation money....we might though
Feilhaber stays with New England according to Ives, will pair with Shalrie Joseph.
...and they have Ousmane Dabo, late of Lazio. Anyone know if Dabo's played this year? Feilhaber, Joseph, Dabo, that's pretty nice midfield in a 4-3-3.

Should be interesting to see what happens with him on the left of a 5 man midfield. Too bad about Dabo.
Japanese D Takahito Soma possibly coming to MLS this summer.

Guti says he's interested in New York and LA. Sounds typical, eh?

I'm sure TFC will respond with some player from the Dutch amateur leagues in the summer window.
