John Rooney, 20, is the younger brother of Manchester United star Wayne Rooney. Rooney, who spent a few days in Portland on trial - he also trained with Seattle - in August, has said he is excited about the possibility of playing in MLS.

from what i have heard, he's pretty shit. Havent seen him play though, so i dont know. I cant see him going too high up. All he has going for him really, is his name.
he got trialed to be with derby county reserves last year, and was quickly dropped.
this is disappointing news for Chad Barrett whom was already looking to catch on as Wayne's younger brother....
Good luck to him. I don't know if anyone read the article about this on the MLS website, it said that he was one of a group of young international players that would be included in the draft. I'm wondering who else will be included?
