Damn. I thought the Union had one of the sharpest looks in the league, this simply looks out of place. Always have to be cognizant of names that don't translate well also, and this is a premium example.

One good thing about our sponsor is that B-M-O is just B-M-O, in any language.

Hey if Bimbo does some cross team promotion, that wouldn't be too bad. Hard to get worked up about the MLS jersey sponsors, maybe except Amway. Anyway, half the jersey sponsors in the Prem are gambling outfits, so if they aren't particular why should we.

Philadelphia Union to go Bimbo

CHESTER, Pa. – To lift the second-year franchise to new heights, the Philadelphia Union has altered its “sacred ground.”

In a press conference on Tuesday at PPL Park, the Union formally announced a four-year partnership deal with Mexico-based Bimbo Bakeries USA, reportedly worth close to $12 million.
