Very tough start for the ladies, having to play Germany, it should show if the new methods of Canada's team are "for real."

The consolation is that womens' football is almost non-existent in France, and Nigeria doesn't have much history. It looks decent for Canada advancing, and a victory against Germany would be historic.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

    Morning Denime

No matter what group we would go in, we would have some difficulty. The other two teams shouldnt put up much of a fight. We shouldnt go into it expecting to walk over them though. If weaker teams play hard, they can catch a better team off guard.

Damn that's too bad. That is a big deal. He will forever have knee problems and slower recoveries now that this is done.

    SSG: Super cute

CWNT: I wish them luck, I liked what I saw in the last women's world cup. It was alot more entertaining than I thought. I hope Sinclair hasnt lost a step cuz she was great.

TFC: As far as the team goes, it seems like everyone is dragging their feet more than anything. Meanwhile, Vancouver and Portland are making strides towards developing competent MLS rosters. I haven't heard anything about Cann being given a new contract to keep him with the team through 2011, I'm disappointed that we were able to trade for Sturgis and not settled the Cann situation or the DeRosario salary dispute.

MLS Rumours Being Thrown At The Wall:

    Robbie Keane to Whitecaps
Dwayne DeRosario to San Jose Earthquakes

    .......Any good news?
    .......Klinsmann.....are you there?

Normally, I wouldn't mention such things, but someone needs to tell the sunshine girl to switch to clear deodorant when taking pictures.
