Fun for a few minutes.
I put a design in for the hell of it, but I don't really care what it looks like. All white would be cool.
We should make the design as similar to the current design as possible, so people won't feel the urge to buy a new kit.
Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy
They're calling it that to hedge their bets, in case they hate it. If they love it, they can say it's a supporter-designed team kit. If they hate it, they can say it's the new third strip.
Either way, it's their way of trying to reengage the fans COMMERCIALLY. The obvious hope is that buy-in will get people to pick up merchandise, which they need, because people are boycotting.
A better move here? A polite "no more stunts for the foreseeable future" letter from Boris on behalf of the group, followed by no one taking part.
someone tell me how i can show images plzzzzzz
I've coloured mine in already.

In all honesty, this is the first time I've ever heard of a "Supporters" Kit.
Whatever, I guess. I'm not going to buy one, but the contest itself is pretty cool.
Did the USA , of all countries, just fix soccer? - C. Ronaldo, May 27th commenting on the FBI-led investigations into fraud and corruption throughout FIFA.

Or people could just not buy it.
It's an attempt to engage fans, even if it's with the ultimate goal of selling us stuff (as all fan engagement is). As with season tickets, the easiest way to send a message is to simply not buy one.
I think calling it a "stunt" is a little unfair. They aren't going to cease any and all promotional efforts for TFC until the team is getting on-field results.

So new shirts every year.
What's in your wallet?

I would never buy a new jersey. I never understood why people need to buy the new jersey every year or two. t
I bought mine in 2007. It's red, it has the TFC logo on it. That's all I need.
And with the way "retro" has come back in jersey designs, my 2007 will still be cool in 2020
^until its worn out
There is a redesdign of teh red kit, the white jersey and a new third jersey which from what I am told is all black...
The MLS is different then most football leagues as they change their jersies every year and MLS is on a two year cycle

Im ALL over this shit. . . .
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
I'm torn.
On the one hand, it's pretty damn cool they're asking the supporters to design an away kit.
On the other, there's something intrinsically wrong with a supporter designing a kit only to have it sold back to them when it's actually manufactured.
I suspect they already have the winning kit. There are so few combinations possible that they know someone will submit the entry they want.
