Already season seats for next year up for grabs in the tickets trader. You can pick up your pair there.

If MLSE would accept 52 weekly installments of $10, I'm pretty sure we'd all find the $10, but finding an extra $200 a month over the seasonal period is rarely easy.

On the plus side, CBCs ratings during home games will be going up next season!

The sad thing about this is that the fans are getting pushed out. The attendance will drop and MLSE will have a hard time getting people back. You know what that means - eventually they will cater to the same crowd as they do for the marlies...and our "authentic" football experience will just be another mix of kids/groups and the occasional suit.

Well, at least now we know who the "one" is in all for one.

LOL. New motto on next years home opener scarf. "All For MLSE"

Its an interesting point about TV ratings. People talk about how the Blue Jays attendance is woeful. But what many don't realize is that the Blue Jays have become quite the profitable TV property. Not sure if TFC has the fanbase to create something similar though.

It's not just the $20 dollar ticket for many of us, and if the ticket isn't priced low it pushes those of us commuting from out of town out of the picture.
don't forget that some of us lose half a day of work on Saturdays trying to make up for that commute time also. three tickets in 111 not renewing. and guess what, the other two that usually come with me are on that famous waiting list. they're not buying either if their name gets pulled.
EXPAND THAT TO 30 000 PEDDIE.

Do what you like, it's a free country. But when that first cold, windy, rainy game day in March 2011 comes, I'll be in my seat as always.

Did you not mean it when you said: "TFC 'til I die" ?

    Loving TFC is one thing.
Getting buggered by MLSE is another.

Giving up on tickets is not the same as giving up on the team.

Everyone can do as they wish, but are you implying that there is no breaking point? That in order to show love for our own hometown team we should pay whatever TFC decides to charge?

What if your south-end tickets went up to $1000 each? Is being mad at MLSE somehow exclusive from loving the players that represent our city? You can't have one without the other?

have you read this thread man? nice buzz words though. You should have added more banner emoticons to the bottom to really make the point though. Its a free country? Awesome. I guess I'm free to not pay and show up anyway then...or are we just spitting rhetoric....

    Surely, you're fucking kidding.

You and your fellow highrollers like "rocker" should get together in the prawnies and start your own section. Maybe your banners can say: "Fuck the poors" or "What recession?" or something like that since, clearly, money is no object

You support your team first and foremost with your heart, not with your wallet.

They killed me waaaaay back when they pulled the bait and switch on the Real Madrid friendly tickets. Although I has occurred to me that ML$E might be trying to relive the first year buzz over and over by giving us a completely new team and new franchise performance EVERY SEASON!

As far as giving up tickets... I purchased a pair from another RPB to offer to local fans here in Ottawa, other members of the 75 Mile Bastards and RPB members if I wasn't going to be using them myself.

I had a hell of a time moving these this season and have had to swallow them a few times. I will not be purchasing these next season.

So I take it that some of you didn't mean it when you said "TFC 'til I die". I did. Granted, I don't have as long as most of you to live.

It's a personal choice to pay for the tickets and you certainly can support the team on TV. Once again, I will be there in March and that's the way I can support the team. I think I will see most of you there.

My apologies. The sanctimonious attitude of some on here towards those who can't afford to renew because of the massive ticket price increases since day one is just a little too much to take. Why piss on THOSE people who can't afford it? Just because they cannot does not mean they do not support the team.
