TFC has had over 80 players. We can't list them all. The players I picked were from an article I read on the best past players we had from 2008-2009. (That's why Gerba isn't there. Sutton wasn't on the list.) I then added a few "fun" choices from seasons 1-3 (you guess which ones).

One of the "fun" choices was Chris Pozniak. He's not the most skilled player, but he has utility in MLS above his skill level, because he can play almost any position on the right or the left with equal mediocrity. Instead of Preki's strategy of playing players out of position, which usually ends up poorly, Poz would be a natural for anything from mid to D. The only positions he couldn't play are GK and striker. I'd favour having him back, if only because the small squad sizes make someone like him very useful.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Andy Welsh. I would have picked Samuel.

I could live with Gerba coming back, and Robbo (although his best days may be behind him) but that would be it. Time to move on for the rest.

    Marco Velez.

If Jacob Peterson deserves to start every game, why not our favourite Porto-Rican?

I assume we're counting money & current age into this and it's not like a video game so I would say Dunivant for sure, Serioux, probably Cronin and Ricketts too. We need wingers badly thus Dunivant & Ricketts. Cronin still has an upside and Serioux is still better than Garcia.

Yeah, but you gotta include the really important past players in the poll, like Lombardo
