This team needs to do what Seattle did with Sigi and take it a step further.

There is no salary cap on management - so why don't we just go and back up the money truck for the GM & Coach duo from Real Salt Lake?

And if you can't/don't want to get both, lets get a greybeard in as GM and headhunt hard after Kreiss or Nichol and give them an expanded role as Coach + some roster management duties.

Preki could not handle the media so I doubt he has a great respect of anyone in the clubhouse. It's a simple ability to communicate with people and get the best out of them. They seemed to not want to play in recent games and part of that is exhaustion with all the games in recent weeks yes, I agree.
When I heard that Preki basically took control of the defense aspect of the squad I became concerned way back then. So who is developing the mids and forwards I thought? Proof is in the pudding now.
I am thinking very carefully about renewing next season as are a lot of people I would think. But the MLSE should'nt worry.

Our defenders were much improved over last season and Barrett had been leading our team. Once he went down, the season went down with him. OBW and Mista have been huge failures. DeRo has gone cold.

Roogsy, maybe Preki did have full control. Point Roogsy. But maybe not. He didnt bring in JDG, he didnt bring in OBW. Did he want Mista? Doesnt seem so. Those three guys have done nothing this slump. Are they Preki players? Mista and OBW have done nothing since Santos and Barrett have gone done.

Anyway, its irrelevant. There will be a new manager in soon.
