Holy crap, I hope the boys don't get hurt at their run down field.

Can't see the pic cus of my phone, but I heard it's so bad, they won't let then play there. Panamas home match is taking place in honduras I brlieve
I still think it shouldn't really be called a stadium. It's more like a field with bleachers.
Thats a quality pitch! Love the ankle snapping sink hole at the one end.. And the facilites.. top class.. What the hell kind of team is this? Anyway.. game will definitely not be there.
Do we know what year that video was from? Except for the girl who shows up for a split second to blow you a kiss that video is pretty scary. Fifa must have some kind of standards that must be met for competitions. Note to any away fans...sit on the grass if possible...that stand is going to collapse any day now.
This is terrible... definite injury risk... can't we play the game in Miami...
I am pretty sure they have renovated it and it has a new turf field.
Hopefully, we do better research than the Cruz Azulians who thought we still played on plastic

That's all I'll say about that.
They did not use Estadio Armando Dely Valdes in the Champions League last year, so there is really no reason to suspect they would this year either. Last year in the Champions League they used Estadio Augustin Sanchez in the city of La Chorrera.
hmmm let's have a look at the weather forecast for the next 5 days, the field might be OK if it's nice and dry.....

I am sure the FIFA Gods have ensured the stadium is up to standard.
Just like it's refs.
KD.
CONCACAF website says they use the stadium in Panama City for CCL.

I watched most of the RSL - Arabe game last night which was in Salt Lake but ended up with Arabe playing a disgusting, thuggish style of soccer ... the style of play is one thing to deal with but when coupled with the dangerous state of the field (if it indeed it is that bad) it amounts to a situation that could cause TFC serious collateral damage regardless of the outcome of the game... would MLSE allow any of its other assets (e.g., Leafs, Raps, Marlies) play in a similar situation?
You got it Trevor. I was told last night that they would be using the La Chorrera stadium.
It's closer to Panama City so the trip will be easier. I've read that it has been renovated and has an artificial surface.
Here's the "view from space" pre-plastic pitch by the looks of it.
Christ, that's no better. There are unofficial cemeteries in south Jersey that look safer than that shithole.
They did use Estadio Armando Dely Valdes for their third group game and quarterfinal.

It doesn't look bad:

However, their website does say that they will play at Estadio Augustin Muquita Sanchez like Blizzard said (renovated with turf a couple of years ago), in La Chorrera close to Panama City:

Wow, if it's true that they aren't going to use this stadium the Nicaraguan team should really appeal to CONCACAF. Their spot was given to Honduras for not having an adequate stadium. There should be a double standard.
The Concacaf website must be wrong. What a shock! Unless there is a disagreement going on between Concacaf and the Panamanians as to where they should play which is always possible.
The Arabe Unido website is the best source. It must be Estadio Augustin Sanchez in La Chorrera. The videos are of last year's games at Estadio Sanchez with the fieldturf pitch, Concacaf website does say the games were played there last year. Seats 3,040 according to Wiki.

Kinda amateurish when you are four days before a Champions League game and we still aren't sure where exactly the game will be played. I looked up these places on a map and La Chorrera is a bit of a haul from Colon.
Out of the 20 possible stadiums, do any of them seem safe to play in?
