What a fantastic morning it is. I missed my commute to work this morning still excited from last night's result. We were all over them like a fat kid on a cheeseburger. Fantastic effort by all.

They do seem to think both goals came against the run of play, which I don't agree with. However, they are somewhat complimentary of the city, the supporters and the team. The video included, the spanish commentators make particular mention of Conway's performance.

The 2nd goal was one of the better goals TFC has scored.

I don't know if they're saying they were off to Toronto after they boiled the Jaguars or that the TFC match was "in the bag".

You beat me to it! This is just as fun as reading the Montreal Gazette on a Sunday morning after a Leaf's victory over the Habs.

I just wish i could read spanish.

    I use google translate:

The arbitration was conducted by the Jamaican Courtney Campbell, who had a good performance.

I'm using LiveSearch Translate here. The jaguar is saying "You don't eat jaguar truth?", and the rabbit responds "Because I travel much... I like to try everything."

After last night, that rabbit's got crow stuck in its craw.

I think the ref was not that bad....except for all the calls that went against us, and not being fair in some plays.....

I take it back...he sucked, you figured that OB White could have spoken to him in his native Jamican and cut us some slack...believe it or not down south players do that alot to the refs...I remmeber one time el Loco Abreu was showing his Uruguay jersey (which he always wears under his team's jersey when he plays) to the ref and telling him that I am Uruguyan as well....so is not unheard of!!!

I think it means they thought TFC would be an easy win.
But I don't get the "joke".

Cruz Azul hadn’t given up a goal to MLS opposition in CONCACAF Champions League play before facing TFC.
    and THAT is a fact

It's almost a shame that we have a game on Saturday. I could happily kick back and enjoy this result for a few weeks before the next game.

English. In Jamaica they speak english. Patois is a dialect, but it's still english.
Let's avoid comments like that in the future, m'kay?

A little off topic and not worthy of a separate thread but here's a little news about our former boss.

Plymouth Argyle's John Carver in Sheffield United link

Plymouth Argyle assistant coach John Carver is on the brink of joining new Sheffield United manager Gary Speed at Bramall Lane, BBC Devon understands.

The duo have previously worked together at Newcastle United, where Carver was assistant to the late Sir Bobby Robson.

Carver is effectively the number three coach at Plymouth, under manager Peter Reid and head coach Paul Mariner.

In January, the 45-year-old turned down the opportunity of working with Burnley boss Brian Laws at Turf Moor.

Carver has been at Home Park since December 2009, when he was appointed as assistant coach to Paul Mariner.

thanks for the translation. That's funny that they think both goals came against the run of play, since the first goal came basically after kickoff. Not sure how one could determine "run of play" in 2 minutes.

From being there, I actually felt like TFC dominated the first 30 minutes and could have been up by more. Cruz Azul were really sloppy early on and I was shocked at this. They definitely picked up as the game went on.

Amazing game last night. I ended up buying tix, but after seeing the game live, I wish I picked up a CCF pack. Are they still selling them?
