    Default DCU waive Boyzzzzzz

    http://sports.yahoo.com/mls/news;_yl...united-khumalo

South African forward Thabiso “Boyzzz” Khumalo has been waived by D.C. United.
The 29-year-old Khumalo was acquired in September 2008 and made 27 appearances in all competitions. He scored one MLS goal and had three U.S. Open Cup goals for the United, who waived Khumalo on Tuesday.

He played for the Pittsbrugh Riverhounds in USL 2 when I saw him before he was picked up by DCU and MAN could he fly up wing and had good ball control skills as well.
Just imagine Wynne speed but able to score.

I wouldn't mind TFC picking him up. He would add to the tandem of Mista and Santos.

Mista, Santos, Barrett, OBW, Dero (at times). We got enough strikers. So unless he's better then one of those fuck it.

If he really did have Wynne speed and the ability to score, he would still be with DCU I presume. No more mediocre strikers please.

My initial response might be "meh" but look at how Santos has been rejuvenated with TFC. At this point, anyone would be an upgrade on the wings over Peterson...

He's a speedy winger. I don't see why it's not worth a look (if we have the cap room). We are sorely lacking width at the moment...

Oh I thought he was a striker. Winger? fuck yeah, I'll take any winger right now to replace Peterson and our imaginary left winger.

I don't know much about him - I think he can play both. Based on Keystone's comments and our needs, that's all I would consider him for...

I second that. Never impressed me from what I saw.

Prying Nick Zimmerman out of Phily might be a better idea.
