KC are not SJ. They were in the final 4 last year, with most of the roster intact. OK they haven't replaced Johnson, I know, but KC has at least 5 players I would love to have. They could easily be a playoff team.
As for us, our record is slightly better than it would otherwise be, because we've played 8 of 13 at the Fortress.
We've had games where we've given points away (yesterday, and at DC in May), and games where we got full points, and maybe it flattered us based on the run of play (at LA, the RSL game).
This is a league with a LOT of parity. And a lot of teams, including us, will be adding key players.
Can't get too high or too low. It's a long and hard road.
