I must say for a shitty weather game where the result didnt mean much, the south stand was rocking yesterday. Well done!

We win on Sat, we pass SJ and NY (again) and come within 2 points of 1st in the east. Not bad!

South Stand was fantastic. In the second half my wife and I crashed the CBC private box (still had to pay for our beer) and you folks in the south stand drowned out the NEE, which were right in front of us. Well done - the trophy presentation, where everyone stayed and did the bounce looked awesome.

As the game did not really matter too much last night I thought a video of how the fans in the south end celebrated from the first second of the match to the last would be worth seeing. It was wet and it was a foregone conclusion but it was a wonderful night. Hope you all enjoy it.

Congratulations to Toronto FC, Champions of Canada.

It was great to see Dichio on the pitch at half-time working with Lindsay last night. He was also on the bench the whole game. Is he usually on the bench and I just haven't noticed?

Does anyone know what his official role is currently? The TFC Academy wikipedia page indicates he's a senior team coach, but he's not listed under the Academy staff page on torontofc.ca.

DeRo was on 102.1 this morning.
As is always the case with morning radio hosts, the guys tried to be way too funny and nine times out of 10 failed.
They did, however, ask DeRo if he's ever referred to the coach as "Pricki."
They mentioned the next round and DeRo talked about having to dodge bags of piss when playing in Honduras.
Looks like they post audio at edge.ca but I don't see this one up yet.

I don't find Dean Blundell even remotely funny. I stopped listening to the Edge when he started doing mornings. I tried to go back once and all it did was anger me.

    +1

... and I used to listen to 102.1 before it went all commercial. It used to be known as the "Spirit of Radio" under the old station manager. Rush made a song about the station at that time with that name.

For those of you more concerned with what other supporters do or don't do than anything else...get a life

For those of you more concerned with how the south stand looked as opposed to the actual game and how the academy kids looked....get a life.

    ^^

I have to say that I was impressed with Henry and Matheson last night. Henry must have had 100+ touches on the ball while Matheson is physically strong and won't be pushed off the ball easily. His strike that sailed just over the bar was nice ,especially since he had a defender strapped to his back.

I was thinking the same thing. I bought a poncho for the game in Montreal because rain was forecast and it only cost me $1.97
