that should be a useful piece of technology.
Good clip of the national team there too.

Anyone else offically have a man-crush on John Carver? LOL
Honestly though, this guy is AWESOME!!
Very cool, looks like powerpoint mixed with football manager
Advantage TFC!!
I remember this was mentioned many months ago when Carver was first introduced to the team.
Then I never heard anything about it... good to see it has been put into place.
I also remember it costing a lot of money... like 100 G's or something.
Neat! I saw this kind of stuff watching broadcasts in Europe where they have distance traveled, passes completed, accuracy, etc... I always wondered how they did that. Good to see! Carver just keeps paying off!
I am enjoying the KM's ran on the Euros and passes completed.
I wonder how many KM per game Cunny runs...1, maybe 2?

Wonder how they track the running stats. Do you think the players all have sensors in their shoes?
if it doesn't help us win then wtf?? lol jokes... looks like a cool program curious to how it gathers all the info
I'm surprised too that other MLS teams don't have it.
America is the land of gadgets and if you've ever seen what goes on behind the scenes in the NFL or NCAA, you'll know how much of this stuff they already use...just not for "sacker"
I'm surprised American soccer broadcasts don't have blue streaks behind the ball for passes and red streaks for shots to make it easier to follow the soccer ball.
Prozone is used by a few NCAA programs and the USSF
It's also been on display at the last couple of NSCAA conventions
the poor man's version is TactFoot
Im honestly not surprised the rest of MLS dont have it.
Most other teams are run very amateurish.
awesome that TFC uses this, i stumbled apon this a few years ago on youtube watching Rafa Benitez explain it. Very cool...

Good to see TFC and MLSE spending money to get a leg up…

MLSinToronto.......can you ask Carver to use this software to show the ref that Dichio was not offside?
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
MLSinToronto can you introduce City Of Toronto and MLSE with this new technology, please

Peter Schmeicheal fucked with the system when it first came out. I remember reading somewhere that he would job laps in the 18 yard box to accumulate KM's. He ended up have the longest distance run than any other player on the field.
This technology is pretty cool but in all fairness the Smartboard can't cost that much as my high school has at least 4 of them the expensive part is probably the software and the fact that they have to "send stuff to England" which tells me that they have to subscribe or something
