Are you thinking of Jean-Claude Darcheville? It was about 3 years ago in the CL and it was an unbelievable miss. The heavily-accented Scottish announcer freaking out just makes the clip that much better. I'll find a link when I get home since I don't have access to any videos here.

This has to be the worst one, its one thing to miss queue a kick on a wet pitch, its another thing to miss kick the ball when its already going in the net from 3 feet out.
