I hope the CSA doesn't book a 'visiting' team at BMO vs. Canada that it markets as a 'home' game for our opposition the way it did last time vs. Jamaica. It would be nice to see them try to sell the game as a Canada game to Canada supporters.

You would think so, but I don't see the CSA being so sensible.

Seriously though, at 41 she's in incredible shape - there's alot of 20 year olds that want her body...

    best quote:

"the actual list of prohibited items, published on the club’s website, mentions among other things “large flags, banners and drums” and anything deemed “offensive”, which, come to think of it, finally explains their longtime hole at striker"

Well there is no way in hell she's 41 then, unless you're 9 years old and your mother was 16 when she had you and your gran was 16 when she had your mother.

    How old are you?

Besides the age lie, she seems really nice though...

Good to see the media scrutiny.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

I'm so happy that the press is siding with the fans and putting pressure on MLSE...
At least they realized that we support our team faithfully but we don't accept mediocrity.
MLSE, you can have all the profits you want as long as you deliver a good product on the pitch and don't think that we are just following blindly.

Sad thing is...she looks better than half the SSGs we get...although recently, we've had a good run with SSGs, so she only looks better than 1/3 of them.

As long as they’re in their seats as paying customers and not doing something truly protestant — like, just saying, a boycott — you grit and bear it, all the way to the bank.
Stirring the pot with the fans so he can have better material to write about and The Star can sell more papers. Not even The Sun did that.

F Chris Young. You want to report on something? How about report on the players before / after the game instead of some management BS. Report on training. Report on injuries. Report on game strategy. Give people a detailed analysis of what we can expect in the upcoming game on Sunday. I know people will argue that it helps the cause (getting rid of MoJo), but this is ridiculous. We're not trained seals that will belly flop on command. We don't need drama-loving "fans" coming in, because they can start La Revolucion. We need fans that care about the playoffs, that care about the longevity of this club, that care about the chants and why we sing about a striker at 23:13.

Suck it Chris Young. Suck it long. Suck it hard.

I don't understand your reaction to his article...writing a piece on TFC supporters isn't exactly going to boost newspaper sales - especially when the article was posted online for free.

He didn't say anything that hasn't been said here a million times, if anything he's sympathizing with our situation...

Definitely, we've had a good run of form with the SSG's lately...no C section scars or treasure trails in quite a few weeks.

I hear you and FluSH for not agreeing with my point of view, didn't expect many to actually, but the way that I see it is as a value-based thing.

I want the local reporters to talk write in-depth about the squad in a way that represents the squad in a positive light. If the fanbase learns about the squad because of its mismanagement, how can we reasonably expect people to respect Toronto FC / MLS / soccer in North America. It's things like this that accumulate and snowball into degrading the team specifically and the sport in general.

Talking about issues like these amongst supporters is different because, when it comes down to it, we will support the team. If people judge the team based solely on that article (which people probably will), then it will further degrade the perception of the team.

I dunno, just how I feel.
