This is going to be very busy year for TFC Players.
We still have to play two games in August vs NCA1 team to qualify for second stage of CONCACAF Champions League:dates are 26.08-28.08 2008 and 02.09.-04.09.2008

And add on top of that 6 CMNT games for WCQ.

DC has 2 matches a week for like 3 months, should have stayed out of SuperCrap.

    Well TFC didn't make SuperLiga...
I don't know if I should be happy or not...
Glad because they're already playing so many games, but not because it's less TFC games.

One good thing to come of this is the fact that MLS teams will soon realize that in order to compete caps have to be raised and teams have to be more then 18 players.

The limitations on squad depth need to go out of the window if were going to be competing in this many games, and against international calendars.

It's absurd that competing in only one additional tournament could cripple our league chances.

For this season, we might have to set a priority on one side or other of the competitive coin - domestic success or int'l experience. I'd prefer to make the league a priority this year. We're still in building mode.

After all the chatter about Bringing Back The Blizzard, we should treat the Honduran club the same way their national team was in 1986 by making them play the game in King George V Park in St. John's, Nfld. Canada won 2-1 to clinch a berth. The extra travel considerations were too much for Honduras. They lost their equipment on the way in.

Of course, payback could be one very nasty bitch going back down south. That flight home could feature a re-make of Snakes On A Plane.
