lol I love the headline Duane used;
TFC: market cornered on injured Latvians
I love this comment on the 24th minute blog:
You know a player is obscure when the only Google reference for the player is the blog article you were just looking at.
LOL
i certainly trust reports out of Latvia.. haha. I don't see how you could have a serious knee injury yet be running around in training with TFC.
I think it's because the name is incorrect in Duane's blog. LOL
Correct spelling: Raivis Hščanovičs
here is his wiki

and all is now well in the world. Phew thanks God we got this guy I was getting worried for a while.
actually just checked his wiki and his goals ratio is excellent for a defender...I take it back, as long as he has 2 legs and can run.
cityboy... he could still be crap... but he's young and tall... hopefully it works out.
I mean, I really, really, really hope it works.
TFC: where broken footballers come to die.
Anything to get Garcia relegated to the bench! Hopefully...
Latvian w/bad knee > Garcia
Raivis Hščanovičs... nickname - Thomas.
TFC: Where fans criticize players before they even play a game.
LOL.
Whose criticizing him? Other than commenting on his obscurity or his proneness to injury. Which seem like valid points. Most people are willing to give the guy a chance. Everybody likes pleasant surprises.
Maybe you should do this, TFC: where Rocker will defend everything the crappy management does.

I love the comments below the translated article... sounds like they know a little about the MLS in Latvia. They even post links to some of the TFC supporters youtube videos.

If this 23-year-old in any way helps get our 97-year-old defender off the pitch and to the bench, then I would count this as a successful signing.
Credit to Mo for finding someone away from the usual channels (how long until he changes agents to First Wave? )
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
People people people! Can't you see that this is just another cynical cash-grab by MLSE?!! Everyone knows they make a lot more money selling crested player shirts with letters like and č than they do regular s and c. It's all yet another ploy to separate us from our money!
