Good interview! Rohan is a really nice guy.
I'll have one coming up as well. I could have had it for you today but I wasn't in the best state of mind when Rohan called me last night lol

Oh and just while I'm thinking about it... if I'm interviewing JDG over the phone, is there some way to record it and then transfer it? I want it to be clear, and then I could upload the audio file for you guys.

Two ways; do you have a digital recorder or handheld tape recorder? If not, it's more complicated.

To record directly off the phone you need a phone tap; you can buy them at most electronics stores for about $15. It's just a switchbox with a 1/8-inch jack that can plug into the line/mic out jack on a recorder. If you don't have a recorder, you can use a 1/8 inch (headphone size)-to-1/8 patch cord and plug directly into your sound card's line-in jack.

You can do it without a phone jack but you need a digital recorder with an external mic (preferably a condenser) and your cordless or cell needs to have a speaker-phone option.

I have a digital recorder. The last time I tried to transfer it just off speaker phone, and then onto the computer, the sound quality was poor and it was barely audible. I think I'll try the phone tap... So I just plug that into my recorder, and voila? Because my recorder doesn't have an external mic, unfortunately.

Rohan, for all of the tongue in cheek arrogance he throws out, is a down to earth, very likeable person.
He has a great sense of humor, and is approachable.
He really wants to do well for the team, and the brace he scored on the weekend should be making him very proud.

Agreed. He is an honest man. I especially agree with him regarding the beautiful triangular passing of DC United. He is a safe bloke.

Great interview, I can easily see this guy playing in Toronto for ten more years and all that, fan favourite and all that. If he plays like he did against Colorado he'll be an All Star year after year.

I think it's more likely he'll reach his real potential here because he'll stop thinking twice on the pitch and rely on his abilities. And after about three or four years, a big euro team will come in for him. He's got the ability, it's all just second-guessing and self-confidence. Needs to be a bit more mercenary in his appoach.
