4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1?

I like how the team is taking shape to play in a 4-4-2 formation for the 2010 season, but we seem to be just as well suited to play a 4-3-3, or 4-3-1-2, or 4-3-2-1. I'm more inclined to using those 3 formations. So my question is, when FM2011 comes out, what formation looks best for TFC?

*Mind you when FM2011 comes out, I will dump Garcia and trade for Ugo Ihemelu, first thing.

gala needs to be in there on the left side and de guzman needs to play in the middle de rosario should be just behind white and just left. gala and de ro could make amazing runs on that left side. now only if we had quality on the right... and, for thsi next game, i would like to see gala/de ro get a few long balls down the left side once in a while... just to keep the opposition on their toes and stretch their defence back = goals. and we haven't seen much this year at all (including preseason) white needs service right up the middle. i don't care if he goes offside once in a while - as long as he threatens.

What's your philosophy ? Are you a defensive, counter-attacking side, or do you employ a pressing game, with all out attack ? I think you need to decide that before picking your formation.

TBH it looked to me as though he was playing a 3-4-3. As long as he has the right pjayers and they all buy into his scheme it can be deadly... But it takes some adjustment.

How about we not run a poll on something we have absolutely no control over and are grossly misinformed about as is?

How about this thought...

No matter what formation we use, if the players can't execute tactical play, set plays, or play smart defensively within that formation, we're fucked. Let's let the guys running the team choose the formation and teach the guys the tactical plays.

You can arrange people in a formation, but if none of them know what the fuck they're doing, the formation is no better than a 0-0-10
