    Team Opens Up Tournament Against Battery     03/11/2010 09:31 AM

    For the fourth consecutive year, Toronto FC will finalize their preparations for the MLS season by competing in the Carolina Challenge Cup in Charleston. The Reds' first match in the tournament will be against the hosts Charleston Battery on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. (live video and blog on TorontoFC.ca).

    The tournament also features defending MLS Cup Champions Real Salt Lake and D.C. United. All matches will be played at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina. This is the seventh consecutive year that the Battery has hosted its preseason tournament. Carolina Challenge Cup


    Saturday, March 13
    Real Salt Lake vs. D.C. United - 5:00 p.m.
    Toronto FC vs. Charleston Battery - 7:15 p.m.

    Wednesday, March 17
    Charleston Battery vs. Real Salt Lake - 5:00 p.m.
    Toronto FC vs. D.C. United - 7:15pm
