Happy Friday...A TFC win (even in preseason) and a stunning SSG...what a good way to start the day.
Boy briefs -- not sexy.
I don't want a woman who's dressed as a male 4th grader.
Maybe it's just me.
I'd hit that...

Mainstream sports media will have field day with MLS strike
L.E. Eisenmenger
Who’s going to enjoy a MLS strike? Mainstream sports media, that’s who. It’s a gift really. It’s the offseason for football, the preseason for baseball, and the writers are bored and looking for humor and they hate soccer.
As a writer who works with big four sportswriters, the aggressive hate of soccer is amazing. Blistering ridicule of the sport is almost a competition. But because it’s a World Cup year, editors have asked them to weigh in on soccer. For these journalists, a MLS strike is perfect fodder for their guns and they'll be happy to commit 100% to this cause.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Holy mother of crap it's great to wake up to any kind of TFC win and to feast the eyes on the likes of todays SSG and Co-ed girls.

As Whoopee pointed out in another thread, after the Rangers won the Stanley Cup, hockey was more popular than ever in the US and even Sports Illustrated called it The Next Big Thing. How did the NHL owners respond to this? They locked out the players and shut down the league.
Save us from these owners.....
Coming up on 10 years since Canada won the Gold Cup, Norm Da Costa shares his memories of the tournament. Some tidbits that are TFC-related - After defeating Mexico:
Now it was time to party and the entire squad did so for two full days late into the night. There was beer galore and card games. I think Mark Watson and Craig Forrest had their pockets picked, while, if my memory is correct, the up-and-coming star in the making Dwayne de Rosario fleeced us all
THE 2000 GOLD CUP EXPERIENCE
The funny thing is without that post in extra time we'd all be bemoaning another late goal (and during the real season, points) given up.
To keep things normal for us however, Garcia laid another rotten egg performance for us to complain about.
Garcia got ejected from the game. Great.
If this doesn't get sorted we're in for a long season.
^ ya. You know how in pre-season you mostly play guys who are fringe players who may or may not make the squad? I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope this is why Nick Garcia started.
I can see it now, players don't strike until TFC has a run at the MLS cup.
mornin d

NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
I'm firmly on the players' side... they get shafted in the current deal and now the League is making the PR move giving them a choice between striking and continuing to play under the current crappy CBA, so if they decide to go on strike, they're viewed as the party in the wrong.
Sides don't matter in this whole work stoppage thing. This is what we need to avoid
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/sto...ankruptcy.html
The side we should all be on is compromise. Neither side is right, both are wrong until they come to an agreement. Until that comes to pass, both are wrong and should be blasted as frequently as possible. Neither side deserves pity until one side actually gives up or loses something, after all, all are consenting adults who either play for or own sports teams for their lives. The players don't like MLS? Theres plenty of leagues around the world. Owners don't like what the players want? Go buy the old Arena Football League.
SSG, HOT!!!
No labour deal past the deadline and the future uncertain? NOT!!!
