London-based R&B artist to perform first single, "American Boy"


NEW YORK -- London-based R&B artist Estelle will perform at the 2008 Pepsi MLS All-Star Game Halftime Show, broadcast live to a national television audience on Thursday, July 24th at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2, TeleFutura and CBC. Major League Soccer's 13th annual All-Star Game features the 2008 MLS All-Star squad taking on the storied English Premier League side, West Ham United, at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Homeschool/Atlantic recording artist Estelle, who will be performing her first single "American Boy" during the Halftime Show, is fresh off the release of her second critically-acclaimed album Shine. Estelle teamed up with Kanye West and will.i.am from the Black Eyes Peas on "American Boy", a funk infused number one hit on the international charts.
