don't think a beautiful summer day at 4 p.m. sees many people dying to be in front of their television sets.
not that being on another channel and competing with hockey -- which runs later and later every year -- at night
would do them any favours either.

looks better on tv, too.

they got non sports shows at night that'll attract more people for advertisers than TFC games.

4pm is perhaps a slot where they don't get as many viewers for other shows as they'd get for TFC, but TFC is not good enough for prime time.

In the press release I have in my inbox, the Dallas home game was always on July 24th...nothing on June 9th because of the World Cup starting two days after.
