Mo had to have known that he had no chance of signing him. He could have gone after another left winger or attacking midfielder. We only have two health strikers in Mista and a out of shape O'Brien White. Dero, Peterson and Labrocca are struggling to score.
He also said two weeks ago on GOLTV's "This is Football" that he would soon sign a winger. Where's the so called "Winger" MO.
If TFC don't make and playoffs and Anselmi keeps Mo a lot of people are going to stop coming to games. I'm a loyal TFC fan, but I'm sick and tired of MO and the rest of the suits at MLSE. Fire all of them.

If it's a issue with decent quality players not wanting to play in Canada,
Then MLSE needs to start offering more than market value to these players.

Awful fucking news about Emilio. This is going to be a tough back end of the season. How we're supposed to have either the depth or the skill for both an MLS run and any meaningful success in the CCL is beyond me.

I wonder what excuse Mo will use next week for not signing Emilio or another player. Any guesses?

I wouldn't mind Steve Zakuani in our midfield as a winger. Play DeGuzman, DeRosario, Mista, and Zakuani in the midfield? or... my fantasy.

I like Zakuani's pace, the goals he greats, the goals he's scored himself. Problem is i don't know if he would play left winger. But could you imagine.. Barrett and Zakuani swingin' those footballs into the box for 90 minutes.

If we don't acquire someone in the international market we better be bringing the academy kids up. We need depth, especially with the rash of injuries we just had.
i feel like we will see some of the academy kids during the champions league mostly out of necessity
Aside from a couple of academy kids, I think we've made all the moves we're going to make and yes Mo will still be with us for at least 2 more years.

How about Canadian Captain Stalateri? He could play wing and has a reasonable amount of pace, at least on a rest of season try out similar to Mista? If he doesn't work out doesn't cost you anything?
We don't need 32 yr/o coming to the end of there career, where they have nothing to prove. We need the young guys who want the goals, who want the glory, and who want to make there name so they can go over to England, or Spain.
