mo did say he is injured,if you see any Latvians with a limp walking around town that may be the guy.

Bring Back the Blizzard on the V's board makes a pretty good case for the Latvian leftback being Anton Kurakins, a Celtic reserve player who featured in the Benfica game at BMO.
^also definitely makes sense, although Kurakins is only 20 years old. Doing a quick google search I couldn't find any evidence that either player is injured.
I tried the same couldn't find in anyone info on the injury front, though a Celtic reserve player with a minor injury might not make the tabloids.
Also, I was looking at transfermarkt.de, in it's unattached players section, and it say Kennedy Owusu-Ansah is unattached. I wonder why TFC isn't bringing him in for a look. Also they list a player named Takura Mtandari as Canadian, a former Spurs reserve player. Again, I wonder why TFC isn't snooping around him.
because Mo has no clue and no plan.
wait until the whitecaps come into the league, they will scoop up all of these canadians up.
they already have a better front office then we do....
MO MUST GO
Adrian Cann can get thrown on the list
Adrian Cann has been Vancouver's best defender for the last few years and has also played well as a CMNT member. I would take him in a heartbeat as he would be a drastic improvement over Garcia as a CB...
Considering that there is a indirect link between the old NASL Whitecaps FO and the current one (many of the same people), "already" is not quite accurate. You have over 30 years experience!
I'd agree that the Whitecaps are better run than TFC, at least on the field. Off the field, not so much.

Is there any new information on Eremenko?

I am hoping that we sign Cann, Saric, and Kayizzi. Other than those 3, I don't see TFC making any other moves (which is disappointing). Once again, we could enter the season without a full squad...sigh!
I thinking maybe Cann and Saric or Kayizzi and a forward. I hope they fill out the roster with a few local players or even academy kids.
^Good point, anyone who's an expert of the academy know if we can sign any kids from the academy yet?
Anyone who's been in the program for two years can be signed.
But we're only able to sign what, 1 or 2 players per season??? Some bullshit that is.
FWIW, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kayizzi signed going forward. You don't play every game as a trialist and then disappear off the face of the earth. We were probably waiting for the whole Robbo thing to go down so we knew we had space to sign players.
a lot of the trialists are waiting for the team in the states and will rejoin the squad for Charleston. This is as per Kristian Jack on the footy show podcast yesterday.
good to hear, gives me some hope, curious to see whos still around (id imagine, Saric, Kayizzi and Gargan, maybe one or two strikers/defenders)
I think it's a max of 2. On the surface it seems like a BS league policy, but I can't foresee TFC being in the position any time soon where they're going to want to sign three and four players from the academy in a season.
There's some newish rule where you can sign two academy players, have them not count towards the cap or roster limits, but they can't play in league matches.
I'm not real sure who in the academy system the team might be looking at. I think Aston Morgan and Allando Matheson would be the obvious choices. Huston's looking to sign one of their academy players, DC's third keeper is an academy graduate. Since looks like the rosters going to light, I think TFC should give one or two of the academy players a shot.
Didn't last May's proposed changes happen? Four signings per year (however unlikely that might be). Two, up from one, on GA contracts, but only two GA signings (from Academy) on roster at any one time, i.e., one must graduate before another GA academy signing allowed. Plus the Local signing rule as you've outlined it?
If not the case, blame Duane.

I think I should go on trial with TFC I am in better shape then Gerba
all of the trailist from florida are in the states...due to not being able to get visa's to cross the boarder...saric,kayizzi are tfc targets...
Everybody saw this in yesterday's news links at the footy blog right?
Duane Rollins is hearing speculation the money freed up from Robbo’s departure could be used to sign veteran Scottish striker Paul Dickov in during the summer window, which I’m sure will send waves of excitement through your collective TFC supporting veins. Boy it didn’t take long for that link to come back did it? It’s like the Rasputin of Toronto FC rumours.
Crazy.
