thanks to the star for that hot news article, how old is that news?
It's not just Star,Sportsnet has the same news too:
On grass and in primetime
I wonder if I'll ever see the Heisman Trophy ever described as "the MAC Hermann Trophy of football".
Maybe not until they lose the crystal ball and come up with a cool pose.

Is anyone else finding it hard to get excited about the draft with the potential lockout looming???
Nope. I can worry and be excited at the same time. I'm pretty much an expert at it.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
^ can you lend me some of your optimism?! LOL
I'm excited for the draft, but the looming labour problems are like storm clouds rolling in from a distance...
Since it doesn't affect me right now & there's nothing I can do about it, I'll worry about the labour shit if/when it happens...
I'm trying to stay positive, God knows as a Toronto sports fan I've had decades of experience staying positive during bad times...
Carts...

Another summer of hope!
I was suprised to see that Mariner had taken over at Plymouth. They did well for a spell two years ago, but have struggled lately. I'm not sure this pair will be able to keep Argylle out of League One (and a return to the Devon derby now that Exeter are back up), but they may find a way to bounce back up the year after that.
a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
be interesting to see what happens with Argyle.
They have new ownership, Roy Gardner (formerly chairman of Man U) has taken over, a new kit deal with Adidas that is the most lucrative deal they've ever had and they have a stadium plan to expand to 46,000 as part of the World Cup bid.
The problem was they kept Sturrock around too long (should have canned him last year).
They are in a pretty deep hole and probably won't escape this year. But will be an interesting team to watch this off season.
Another summer of hope!

"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
