Smile Should we change the TFC Badge(Crest)?

I know this is probably an insignificant issue, but what does anyone else think about TFCs' badge? I think it's rather bland compared to other MLS teams and a better design could be proposed. The bold capital "T" with the grey ,white bars seems so unimaginative! Granted, it doesn't make for a better team on the pitch, but hey, how 'bout some of you artistes out there give it a go. Unofficially, of coarse.

I like it. Simple, yet classy. When people start getting "creative", you end up with something like the Crew's logo.

I kinda like it. It's simple and elegant. No big waves, no buildings, and best of all?

    No bulls.

I like it. It's simple and classy.

I also hate when sports teams decide to change their logo. I hope TFC never decides to change it.

I have always like our badge. From the very first day when they released it to the public.

+1. Designs that try too hard end up looking incredibly cheesy and cartoonish that generally don't carry any prestige and are mocked.

That's the only reason this thread is getting so many hits.

Love it. It's our identity. There is no point of frequent changes like the Jays are doing.

It's a great badge, especially since it doesn't have a curly poo in the middle.

    THe bad Crests:

Kansas Wizards (the worst of the worst)
San Jose Earthquakes (a close 2nd worst)
    Columbus Crew
    New York Red Bull
    Houston

    The so, so crests:

    RSL
    New England
    Chicago
    Dallas
    Colorado

    The Good Crests:

    Seattle
    TFC
    DC United
    LA Galaxy
    Chivas
Philly Union (tho it is easy and funny to laugh at, i think the crest is overall pretty good)

    TFC Crest is PERFECT...

Its simple, yet very classy... It has a royal look to it...

There is nothing I HATE MORE than when teams try to "market" themselves with "fresh, hip, funky" logos...

Just ask NY Islanders fans how bad things can go (ahem CAPTAIN HIGHLINER!) and other teams that have ruined their brand and image by trying to be "hip" or "creative"...

    Carts...
"...Money wasn't tight, but it like, it wasn't right..."

One of the crests I miss the most...while never a fan, I always respected the classic nature of it.

We have something similar. Classic. The trends of time will have little effect on it.

And hopefully TFC will never pull a NY Islanders on us like Carts mentioned, and go with something that is shockingly bad.

another classic in hockey was Quebec Nordiqes.

New Jersey Devils is also similar, and still one of the best in NHL.

And Minnesota went from a classic North Stars to being called the WILD??? WTF is that??? worst name in NHL!

Good picks- DC Uniteds' Eagle & Star an obvious patriotic reference, LA Galaxy, again a refrence to the city" galaxy of stars" , Philly Union, the historic reference to the" Don't tread on me" battle flag, Seattle the space Needle etc.. TFCs'...ok it has it's simple style, and I'm not suggesting we put a squirrel dancing through the DVP with a rainbow coloured scarf around its neck but there must be something more emblematic of Toronto or is the big T a phallic thing! lol Joking I'm joking sheesh did I touch a nerve or what!?
