At least that is how it was reported on the FAN590 yesterday.

Young was always going to have to give some money into the funds as the stadium, regardless of location was over $110 mil.
Regardless, this whole stadium situation has turned into a massive debacle.
We could have had a brand new state of the art stadium in Hamilton for decades to come, with easy expansion to the 40 thousands.
Instead they settle on a refurbishment in an area that is tough for expansion, parking, etc, and the design I am betting would not be something to write home about, with a capacity less than what currently goes to football games in the city.
I swear, what the fuck is with people in this country and always screwing up stadiums (thinking Vancouver here also). Lost opportunity.
